Join Krista on this amazing 10-day tour of Canada’s beautiful East Coast. We begin our exploration in Halifax, with the Public Gardens, Citadel Hill, and Peggy’s Cove. In Wolfville, we enjoy an extraordinary Vineyard tour in the sun-kissed Gaspereau Valley.
We meander along the Cabot Trail as well as visit Prince Edward Island where we haul in a lobster trap, a rock crab pot, and a mussel sock. Our trip east would not be complete without a traditional lobster feast! We hope you will join us on this authentic East Coast Canadian adventure!

Sunday, September 9: Victoria, BC - Halifax, NS
Welcome to Halifax! Upon arrival we are transferred to our hotel. The balance of the day is free to explore the surrounding area and rest up before our journey begins.
Monday, September 10: Halifax, NS
After breakfast we will enjoy a guided tour of Halifax and Peggy’s Cove including the Halifax Public Gardens, Citadel Hill, Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse and much more. A lunch stop will be arranged in Peggy’s Cove at the Sou’Wester (not included). Our afternoon is free to explore the capital city. Tonight, we regroup for dinner at The Bicycle Thief Restaurant. Tuesday, September 11: Wolfville, NS
Today we depart for Wolfville, NS stopping enroute at the Gaspereau Vineyards for a tour. Nestled on the south-facing slopes of the sun-kissed Gaspereau Valley, Gaspereau Vineyards is a boutique winery best known for outstanding Rieslings and their fruit forward, terroir driven elegant white and robust red wines. Later in the day we arrive at The Flying Apron Cookery School where we will enjoy a cooking class and dinner featuring local ingredients. (B,D)
Wednesday, September 12: Halifax, NS - Ingonish, NS
Today our journey takes us to Ingonish, NS. Along the way we will stop at Rita’s Tea Room for lunch. We will visit the Highland Village and explore its outdoor living history museum that tells the story of Gaelic settlement in Nova Scotia. The museum is located on a stunning 43-acre property overlooking the majestic Bras d’Or Lakes in Iona, Nova Scotia, the heart of central Cape Breton.
Enjoy the rest of the evening to relax with your fellow travellers or on your own. (B,L,D)
Thursday, September 13: Cabot Trail Touring
After breakfast head out to explore the Cabot Trail and learn about the ample and rich history of Cape Breton. We will enjoy lunch along the trail and later in the day we will check in to our hotel to enjoy an evening at leisure. (B,L)
Friday, September 14: New Glasgow, NS - Charlottetown, PE
This morning we make our way to Prince Edward Island via
the ferry. Upon arrival we will travel from Wood Islands, PE to Georgetown, PE. After lunch we will visit the beautiful harbour where the locals traditionally fish for mackerel. Here we will experience hauling a lobster trap, a rock crab pot, a mussel sock, and enjoy seal watching. Later on we will travel to Charlottetown and check into our lovely hotel. (B)
Saturday, September 15: Charlottetown, PE
Today we will enjoy a ‘Taste the Town’ culinary walking tour. This leisurely three-hour stroll takes us through historic downtown Charlottetown and will allow us to sample some of the Island’s most unique foods and beverages while meeting of the purveyors who produce or prepare them. There is no better way to learn
about local history than through it's regional cuisine! (B,L)
Sunday, September 16: North Shore of Prince Edward Island
This morning we will have plenty of free time to relax or to explore the downtown area of Charlottetown. After lunch we will meet our local guide to depart for the North Shore of Prince Edward Island. Stops along the way will include Green Gables Heritage Home, The Prince Edward Island Preserve Company, Glasgow Glenn Farms, The Prince Edward Island National Park and more. Tonight, we will dine at New Glasgow Lobster Suppers for a traditional lobster feast. Yummy! (B,D)
Monday, September 17: Charlottetown, PE - Halifax, NS
This evening we will check into our hotel. We will enjoy dinner on our own at a local restaurant. Today we will travel to the Bay of Fundy to walk the ocean floor at Hopewell Rocks. The Bay of Fundy is home to the highest tides in the world. We will enjoy lunch on site at the High Tides Café. (B,L)
Tuesday, September 18: Halifax, NS - Victoria, BC
Today we are transferred to the Halifax International Airport for our return flight home. (B)
